SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Information and statements made are for educational purposes and are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor. My service does not replace your doctor for medical advice, but rather provides support for their diagnosis. The views and advice expressed by Donnybrook Natural Health Clinic – Naturopathy are not intended to be a substitute for conventional medical service. If you have a severe medical condition or health concern, see your physician.

YOUR INFORMATION

By booking an appointment, you agree to having your information stored online in a safe, cloud-based facility (I use Simple Clinic). You can access your information and client file at any time by contacting me. You can view my privacy policy here.

YOUR DISCLOSURE

By booking an appointment you agree to disclose your current and past state of health as best you can, including whether you are currently pregnant or taking any medications or supplements, to ensure a safe treatment program can be developed. If your medical condition changes at any time, please advise me ASAP so I can reassess the safety of any prescriptions.

HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS

I use Practitioner-only brands for quality and efficacy. These products have both traditional and evidence-based use, depending on the product prescribed. Individuals may react to herbs and supplements in the same way they can react to foods or medications. If a reaction occurs, please stop use and call me immediately. In the rare case of a severe reaction, contact your physician or emergency services.

TRAVEL

A travel fee may apply for home visits where I need to travel more than 5km. Some health funds offer rebates for mobile consultations – please check with your fund.

ONLINE CONSULTATIONS

Google Hangouts, Skype and Zoom may be used to facilitate the video conference. You will need a good internet connection to be able to use these applications. Online consults are not covered by health funds in Australia. I do not provide online consultations to anyone under 18 years old. I provide consultations online worldwide except for North America. In the event that technical difficulties occur on my end whereby we cannot fulfil the appointment, I will reschedule your appointment and provide this at no charge. In the event that technical difficulties occur on your end, I reserve the right to still charge for the allocated appointment.

PRICING

All pricing is in Australian Dollars. Payment is to be made online at time of booking. Naturopathic consultations are currently GST exclusive in Australia. Herbs and supplements may be prescribed at an additional cost to you and have a GST component. Freight may be charged to have these delivered direct to your door for convenience.

CANCELLATIONS OR NO-SHOWS

If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours the full fee will be charged and no refunds given, as this appointment could have been filled by another client. If you do not show up for your appointment, the full fee will be charged and nothing refunded.
